  • Golf Course - The Milnerton Golf Course is situated about 3 minutes away from Saffron House. The 18-hole, par 72 seaside course is nestled between the Atlantic ocean and the Riet Vlei river, this lush links-type course is relatively flat with few trees. The sea and the lagoon bordering most holes offers a truly unique golfing experience! On most holes, the sound of the waves breaking on the shore just metres away will remain long after your game is over. The spectacular view of Table Mountain from almost every hole is breathtaking, while the nature lovers will be thrilled at the abundance of water birds on the bordering river.

  • Waterfront - Frequented and enjoyed by locals and tourists alike for its unique beauty as a working harbour, complemented by qualities such as designer clothing stores, expansive views, harbour edge dining & sunset cruises the V&A Waterfront is Africa’s most visited tourist destination. Tourists can enjoy a boat trip to Robben Island , 14 cinemas, an amphitheatre, 400 stores, award-winning restaurants, sunset cruises, and much more. The V&A Waterfront offers something to suit everyone’s taste and style. Highlights include “designer label” wing situated in the Victoria & Alfred Mall, featuring designers such as Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Jimmy Choo. You can shop for anything from a Aston Martin to a Apple Macintosh or Louis Vuitton bag.

  • CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre) - Visit exciting exhibitions ranging from the Good Food and Wine Festival, to Spa Conventions and various conferences.

  • Kite Surfing - Sunset Beach is the best spot to kite surf on light wind days (SE light wind). Sunset Beach boasts with the most consistent wind in the entire Peninsula.

  • Wine Farms - The Cape winelands are some of the most scenic in the world. Visitors pour into the Western Cape to experience our viticulture, restored Cape Dutch farmsteads with their distinctive gables and thatched roofs, and the mountains that form the dramatic backdrop upon which our winelands are set. A day spent tasting wine from different wine farms will always be remembered.

  • Clifton Beach - Clifton Beach is made up of four coves. The Clifton beaches are well sheltered from any wind. There are 4 beaches ranging from quiet to trendy and family with good changing room and bathroom facilities. Vendors sell cold drinks and refreshments on the beach. Deck chairs and umbrellas are also available for daily rental.
